Owning several rental properties on three continents, Jasmina West understands the housing industry with a unique perspective. This real estate agent knows how to invest wisely in properties and helps her clients do the same. West feels her clients respect that she is hardworking, honest and ambitious because they know they will ultimately reap the rewards of her efforts.

Originally from Sweden, this Virginia Beach resident is fluent in three languages, and reads and writes Cyrillic. West moved to New York right after graduating high school and studied international economics at Baruch College. She trained horses for hunter jumper events for a decade and then became a medic in the U.S. Army. West decided to go into real estate full-time after leaving the Army because she knew she could positively impact people's lives by helping them find the right homes at the best prices. She is also a military dependent as her husband serves in the U.S. Marine Corps.

This military wife knows all about the tension that comes with relocating to a new area. "I am aware of the stress involved in moving, especially for families with children. I had to move three times in one year and one of those moves was international (South Korea)," explains West. When working with buyers and sellers, she listens to what is needed and makes it happen, even if her clients are overseas. She puts clients at ease with her first-rate researching skills. West is also quite organized and thanks in part to her training as a medic, she remains calm and handles stress well in tense situations.

This horse enthusiast has engaged in equestrian activities since the age of four and remains active in the hunter jumper sport. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. West also likes taking advantage of all the fun things to do in Hampton Roads.
