Hello Potential Home Buyers! My name is Ellen Smith-Johnson and I currently reside in Chesapeake, Virginia. I have lived in the Hampton Roads area for the past 9 years due to a job assignment during my military service with the Navy. In December 2010, I had the opportunity to retire after 21 years of dedicated service.

My interest in the real estate occupation began six years ago when my husband, Anthony, and I ventured into investing homes. We've "flipped" over a half dozen homes and currently rent out four of them in the South Norfolk, VA and Jacksonville, FL area. A year prior to the real estate industry taking a downward spiral, my husband encouraged me to obtain my real estate license. While in the military I did not pursue my accomplishment of being an agent much until recently joining the SimonHouses.com team.

My previous career as a Logistic Specialist in the Navy has really developed me to accommodate the needs, desires, and wants of my customers. I have been able to easily transfer this attribute to my new career as a real estate agent. My most important concern in this business is to ensure my clients are satisfied during the exciting experience of becoming a homeowner.
